Connecting Kidz Inc. Registration!
Thank you for choosing Connecting Kidz Inc.! We are so excited to partner with you and your family. We provide childcare for infants/ toddlers, preschool and school age children. To register for our program please contact the owner to schedule an interview/tour. Each contracted parent or guardian will be required to attend during the interview/tour.
The following will take place prior to registration:
● Phone interview:This is to ensure accommodations can be met prior to a physical tour to ensure we are the right fit for you and your family.
● An overview of childcare policies and procedure:Prior to orientation a copy of the policy handbook will be emailed. Contracts will only be signed after each contracted parent/guardian has thoroughly read the policy handbook.If the policies and procedures comply with your family value for what you are looking for in a child care then a scheduled physical interview /tour can be scheduled.
● A photo ID ( A photo must be sent prior to the tour oach adult attending to ensure safety measures are in place).
● Orientation: A meet and greet for the owner and future clients to get to know one another. This includes an additional opportunity for questions to be answered and a tour of the childcare spaces.In addition we will review the Connecting kidz Inc.policy handbook and contract to ensure you understand the services that are provided.
At enrollment/registration the following is required:
● Non refundable registration fee
● Signed parent contract, and signed policy handbook agreement
● Signed parent tuition billing form
● Child intake form
● Consent to treat form
● Emergency treatment form
● Transportation consent
● Media consent
● Walk days consent form
● CACFP food program enrollment form
● Emergency evacuation and drill permission consent
● Sunscreen and topical ointment form
● Completed child physical and copy of current insurance card and current
immunization record
● Brightwheel registration forms
Connecting Kidz Inc. Daily Schedule
Arrival and Morning Activities
● Morning arrival includes each child putting their belongings away, saying goodbye to
their adult/parent or guardian, followed by washing their hands.Each parent or guardian will sign each child in by scanning the brightwheel QR code.
Handwashing and Breakfast
● Breakfast is a great opportunity for each child to explore new foods. This is also an
opportunity to learn math and science skills, as well as participate by watching and interacting while each meal is being prepared. In addition this is a time for children to practice their literacy skills( reading a recipe and taking verbal directions), and socialize with their peers.
Table Time/Fine motor Activities
● This is a time where each child is able to practice hand-eye coordination
●Encourages math,science, literacy, and develops their social skills by engaging in the themed activity of the day.
Music and Movement
● Each child is able to practice their literacy/language, phonics awareness by learning
songs, and playing instruments while moving their bodies( gross motor activity).
Daily Learning/Large Group
● Includes various language and literacy activities which may include read-alouds,
finger plays, and language development.
Centers/Free Play
● Each child is able to practice socialization skills in a play based
environment, that encourages the stages of play and independent play/ engagement.
Handwashing and Lunch
● Each child is given the opportunity to practice their hygiene and sanitation skills
in preparation for the meal. As the meal is being prepared each child has the opportunity to practice math and science skills through measurements and counting.
Outside/Gross Moto
● Outside time encourages various motor skills.
Quiet Rest Time
● It is critical for children to have a period of quiet time or rest which supports their
brain development in their learning abilities. This also encourages emotion regulation and overall health or our bodies to recharge.
Hand washing and Snack
● Each child is given the opportunity to practice their hygiene and sanitation skills
in preparation for the meal. As the meal is being prepared each child has the opportunity to practice their math and science skills through measurements and counting.
Outside/ Gross Motor
● Outdoors time encourages various motor skills. This is also a great way for each
child to explore nature and get some fresh air.
Departure time
● During this time each child will prepare to go home. This will include putting on
socks and shoes and weather appropriate clothing for departure.Parents will sign out each child by scanning the brightwheel QR code.
Connecting Kidz Inc. Evening Schedule
Arrival and Evening Activities
● Evening arrival time includes each child hanging up their weather appropriate
belongings as well as taking off their shoes. At this time parents will sign in each of their children by scanning the brightwill QR code. This is a time where each child will say their goodbyes.
Handwashing and Evening Snack
● Each child will wash their hands in preparation for the evening snack. This is an
opportunity for them to practice their sanitation and hygiene skills. This is an opportunity for them to try new foods as well as enjoy familiar foods that they like. This is a social time to engage with fellow peers.
Read aloud
● Reading aloud to children helps develop language skills, comprehension,
fluency, empathy, bonding, attention span, listen skills and overall enjoyment of literacy.
Table Time and Fine motor Activities
● Practicing fine motor skills helps encourage self-care Independence, social
interactions, brain development, language development, hand- eye coordination and language development.
Hand washing and Dinner Time
● Each child will practice their hygiene and sanitation skills by washing their
hands and preparation for the evening meal.
Independent play
● Independent play helps children develop their creativity, problem solving skills
and their confidence.
Quiet time
● This is a time in the evening where each child will be able to independently select
a quiet activity to help them wind down in preparation for rest time.
Handwashing/Teeth brushing
● In preparation for rest time each child will practice their sanitation skills by washing
their hands and brushing their teeth which helps prevent tooth decay and gum
disease by removing bacteria and plaque buildup.
Rest time
● This is the time we're each child will go to sleep for the night. Each rest area includes an independent place of sleep for each child or they have their personalized age appropriate bedding. Each rest area is supervised by the adult providing the care and/or cameras to help monitor sleep and nighttime activity.
